.Yes absolutely! Children in any one class may vary greatly at their ability levels as a result of different upbrings (home environment) and hence exposed to different situations. On top of this all kids are truely individuals and are able to do some things better than others. As teachers we need to avoid the tendency to judge and compare students by tasks we set in class for them. Rather we need to find what they are good at and like and when we hit that spot... wow we have found where to start with them |
